Parking, Camping and Vehicle Access

Horsebox / Campsite Parking

All competitors, parents, coaches, DC's and other supporters will camp and park by Area, irrespective of the sport in which they are competing or playing a supporting role.

Each Area will be allocated roughly 80m x 40m which they should arrange and maintain tidily and safely.

For evacuation purposes, it is important that the main driveways through the campsite are kept clear and that horseboxes and trailers park in rows, which will be mown, rather than in other random configurations.

A day parking area will be available for those visiting by the day, which will have a skip for rubbish and a muck heap so that lorries can be skipped out.

Please do not park under trees with large low branches and be ready to follow the advice of the parking marshals at all times.

GENERATORS / NOISE: please respect other competitors (See Codes of Conduct). We ask that all generators are switched off by 11pm. Please keep noise down after this time.

Please note that, as with previous Championship venues, there will be no lorry hookups available.

Showers and portaloos will be provided.

Disabled Parking

Disabled Parking can be applied for in advance here by those who possess a Registered Disabled Person’s Car Badge or are temporarily immobile.

Passes will be issued providing disabled parking adjacent to the dressage and show jumping arenas and the secretarial/trade stand area. It will not admit drivers to the Cross Country Course.

A buggy will provide a regular delivery service from the campsite and day parking area to the Show Jumping and Dressage arenas, the trade stand area and the Cross Country start during the hours of competition.

If anyone wishes to bring their own Mobility scooters, these should only be used in pedestrian areas.

Vehicles

Cars will not be permitted on the Cross Country Course at any time unless driven by an Authorised Official or Steward.

No quad bikes, mopeds or electronic scooters are permitted.

Bicycles are allowed, but they must not be ridden in the horse walks, on the cross country course or at excessive speed near horses or pedestrians, nor must they be enter the stabling field.

The rider and parents are responsible for the wearing of protective headgear and the responsible use of bikes, which will be confiscated if the rider is deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.
